How to spot fake Bape

 First, there is a size limit for Bape clothing. Bape size limit is up to XXXL, no higher than that. 4X is very rare, so you might want to watch out if someone try to sell you a 4x. Sizes over XL are also supposed to be rare, so you should be careful when buying over XL. Also people may try to fool you with a real bag, but might have a fake hoody in it.

I have to say that spotting the tags is important here.

There is something you can spot especially on the Bape hoody with diamonds. Look carefully and you will see the difference. Take a close look at how the diamonds are placed. The real Bapes have the diamonds "on" the letter. The fake ones have it "around" the letters. Also the quality of the material of the real Bapes does make a difference. The designs look cleaner and clear, while the fakes ones look slightly faded or a little lighter than the real ones. Take a close look at the diamonds!

Also take a look at the bags. The fake one has more yellow and orange than the real one.



Here are some comparisons of fake and real ones. Look at the quality of the material and the color and the way both are made, it is very noticeable.



- Fake ones can have the "BAPE" put a little crookedly.

- Colors are off.



- Colors are off again.

- The fake one has the zipper showing in the middle. The zipper is not suppose to be visible like the real one.

- The camo design on the fake one overlaps the waistband while the real one does not. The waistband on the real one is clean.

- The fake one is too yellow.

- The fake one is too bold while the real one is much lighter and the colors are well balanced.

- You can’t really see but the fake one has a baby Milo tag on it when it’s not a baby Milo hoody.

- There is way too much pink in the fake one.

- The fake camo prints are smaller than the real ones.

- On this camo, there shouldn’t be a "BAPE" sign on this version.

Also you can tell by the stitching ands knitting done in the real one, look closely and you will see that the knitting is done from the neck and diagonally to the armpits. But know that this doesn’t apply to some other hoodies with not as much design all over the hoody like the shark and chomper jackets.
